My guest today Joyce K. Gatschenberger is author of the non-fiction Lines of Listening, a memoir that brings home the devastation of child and family abuse and marital betrayal. Lives are shattered but it is also a story of survival and growth, inspiring those who have experienced abuse to heal and then assist the next generation of children so that the story is not repeated in their lives.
Joyce is a native of Illinois. Having gained her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Hawaii and a master’s degree in Community Development, she has gone on to earn several other academic degrees while traveling throughout the United States as a military wife.
