What part of the world do you come from?
I was born and brought up in Kent – about an hour by train from London. I spent my free time playing in the woods opposite our house, and my school life in a London girls’ school. So I had an interesting combination growing up of rural/urban. My parents are from Scotland and the North East of England. So I have a big connection with those parts of the UK.
