So this is what hope looks like!
I was in India and couldn’t take part, but I’m so grateful and proud of my sisters, my nieces, cousins, family and friends. They wore pink pussy hats and carried signs and held hands. They marched for our country, our children, and our future. They are beautiful and more importantly, they are hope.
This is the upside of the downside. This is an outpouring of energy, and true democracy like I have never seen in my very long life. So beautiful. Even had a march here in Toronto in front of parliament buildings. Men, women, children unite to fight for what took decades to win and rightfully keep. ❤
