“Success is not to be measured by the amount of books we sell, but from the satisfaction we gain from knowing that however many books we sell, they’re making readers happy.” What a great thought to keep in mind. So glad you’re pleased, Debby. It’s a brave thing you’ve done and are doing; writing on such a personal and sensitive subject My sister has stopped speaking to me because I wrote my autobiography. Now I don’t know what to do. It’s stuck in a drawer at the moment. Jx

Memoir writing can be quite painful for the writer, and some of the characters. Let me leave you with this thought by Anne Lamott: ‘If you didn’t want me to write about you, then maybe you should have behaved better.” Now, go forth! ❤

Thanks Debby, I understand. Mum is still with us, although she knows none of us anymore. It is only my sister’s privacy – and deeds – she’s afraid of. Thank you. I’m, grateful for your strength.Jx
