  1. Hi Judith, I joined Ancestry.com about a year ago and have found that I have distant cousins from English Ancestors named Barrow going back to the 1500’s. I believe they originated in Cheshire and Lancashire where Elizabeth “Betty” Bower 1758-1801 married Francis Cutts on October 2, 1828. Francis Cutts was my father’s, Harry Lester Cutts’s great, great, great grandfather. My father’s mother was Agnes Conelley 1867-1926. In 1871 she lived in Mile End Old Town, London England then moved to Brooklyn, New York in 1880 and married My Dad’s father, Harry Cutts 1868-1910. They went on to have ten children. I have many distant cousins due to these relationships, and I suppose it’s possible that you may be one of them. I’m originally from New York, but I now live with my long time husband, Bob Sullivan, in New Mexico, which is in the Southwest of the USA.

If you ever get on Amazon.com and find that there is a DNA link, please let me know.

Best wishes from your possible cousin, Lois.
